Parent & Child I/II - 30 minutes
Ages 6-36 months
Children learn basic skills through blowing bubbles floating, kicking and other swimming skills.

An adult must be in the water with the child.
Child MUST wear a swim diaper.

If your child does not already have a release waiver on file with the City of Coral Springs, you must come to the Aquatic Complex prior to the first day of class to complete one. Your child will not be able to participate in the class if there is not a current waiver on file. The waiver can only be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

Course is design to help teens and adults overcome their fear of the water and to learn basic skills to achieve a minimum level of water competency.

Online registration only available to returning divers. New enrollees must register in-person at the Aquatic Complex.
Lesson days and times are set with Coach Michelle prior to registration.
Additional annual $30 AAU registration fee is also required.

Beginner Dive Lessons for ages 5 and up
Children learn basic skills in a step-by-step, 7 level system that
will teach your child how to dive with safe progressions.
No prior diving experience necessary, but the child must be able to swim. You will be able to compete in diving meets after you finish level 3 of the program.

A year-round program that develops strength, technique, and endurance. This also includes advanced swimming skills, stretching, drills, and techniques related to competitive swimming.

Swimmers should be able to pass a pre-requisite test of 4 continuous laps of the pool using the freestyle stroke (100 yards of the pool). Participants must also know freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. The minimum age is 8.

Tryouts are held every Tuesday from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Please check in at the front desk.

Equipment required: Swimming fins, goggles and a kickboard.
Girls: Need swim cap
Boys: Brief or Jammers (no board shorts)

LEVEL III: Stroke Development - 45 minutes
Ages 6 - 16
Course will build on skills learned in Fundamentals II. The dolphin and breaststroke kicks will be introduced to prepare for the butterfly and breaststroke swimming.

Ages 6 to 16
Course develops confidence and builds endurance in strokes learned in the previous classes and includes further coordination and refinement of all strokes. Skills introduced include: tuck and pike surface dives, and flip turns.
