Ceramics: Wheel Throwing (All Levels)
Ceramics: Wheel Throwing (All Levels)
Ready to build confidence and improve your skills on the potter’s wheel? This adult workshop is designed as dedicated practice time for those with some basic wheel-throwing experience who want to strengthen technique through repetition and guided support.
Rather than focusing on step-by-step beginner instruction, this class emphasizes steady practice, troubleshooting, and refining forms. You’ll work on centering more efficiently, pulling consistent walls, improving shape control, and creating sets of functional wares like bowls, cups, and cylinders. Individual feedback and demonstrations will help you break through common challenges and develop greater control at the wheel.
This is a supportive, focused studio environment where progress comes from doing, again and again. Expect lots of throwing, learning from mistakes, and seeing real improvement week by week.
