Week One: Learn about the materials that will be used throughout the class and how to safely handle them begore creating a value scale.
Week Two: learn about color theory and how to mix colors using only the primary colors before creating a still-life painting
Week Three: Explore letting go, and using line and brushstrokes to achieve it, while finishing your still-life painting
Week Four: Begin to combine all the new skills you’ve learned as you start on a self-portrait
Week Five: Learn how to offer meaningful verbal critiques before diving into your final painting
