Museum Adult Art Classes - MUSADULT

Slow down, look closely, and bring everyday objects to life with paint in this 4-week acrylic still life workshop. Designed for beginners and developing painters alike, this course focuses on building strong foundational skills through the timeless practice of painting from observation.

Working from carefully arranged still life setups, you’ll learn how to see and translate form, light, shadow, color, and texture onto the canvas. We’ll cover essential techniques such as color mixing, brush handling, composition, and creating depth and dimension with acrylic paint. Each week builds on the last, helping you grow more confident in your ability to observe and paint what you see.

This class offers a relaxed, supportive environment with demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual feedback. Whether you prefer a realistic approach or a more expressive style, you’ll be encouraged to develop your own artistic voice while strengthening core painting skills.
