Week 5: Art Around the World Ages 7-8
Morning Workshop: World of Weaving
Campers will travel around the world in one week and view the importance of weaving across countries! Exploration includes the basics of weaving, the significance and symbolism of color choices and patterns. They will take this treasure of newfound discoveries and create their own unique mini tapestries to hang and display.
Afternoon Workshop: Warrior Mask Making
Working with cardboard, wood pieces, paper, fabric scraps and more, campers will create large warrior masks, inspired by the many tribes and civilizations across the globe!
